PVD coating is a recently applied technique
that enhances material
surface resistance and is hence an
especially suitable treatment for
heavy-duty items.
What's more, the
treatment confers an appealing colour.
That's why MEDAL has also adopted
the technique for its cremone bolt
lines, thus combining good looks with
maximum surface resistance over time.
The treatment is wholly environmentfriendly
and consists in applying a
zirconium nitride layer under
controlled atmosphere conditions, an
undisputed improvement over the
traditional and highly polluting
chromium plating technique...
